Enseleni Nature Reserve
The Enseteni Nature Reserve is a mere 15 minuts drive from Richards Bay on the N2 towards Empangeni. Entrance to the 293ha reserve is free and visitors are welcome to enjoy the picnic / braai (barbeque) sites and self guided nature walks. The reserve consists of coastal grasslands and forest and the tranquil freshwater habitat of the Nseleni River. Enseleni is a botanical paradise and many hours can be spent exploring the diverse flora. There are two scenic trails which offer visitors the opportunity to experience the different parts of the reserve, the 7km Nkonkoni trail and the 3km Mvubu trail. 035 792 0034 (Officer in Charge)
